SACS MAVMM Engineering college established in 1998,
approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Affiliated
to Anna University, Chennai. An ISO 9001:2008 cerified Institution of repute in
South Tamilnadu, driven by dynamic MAVMM Sabai, a team of
Philanthropists,Industrialists and Businessmen. Our management functions with a
great vision and mission and developed the college to the excellence in
technical education. Our College is situated in a vast campus with 26acres of
land fully lush, green,beautiful and healthy environment below Alagarkovil
hills, around 25kms from Madurai city. Our campus Infrastucture is next to none
in its grading &rating. Facilities have always surpassed our campus with
well ventilated classrooms, Hitech-Labs with latest technology and softwares,
Drawing hall, Workshops, Conference hall, Seminar hall,Auditorium, & an
excellent Library. We have around 120 faculty across all departments with
versatile academic, research and consultancy experience dedicated themselves
towards the academic activities of excellence in the college.

Along with an individual department library, our college
has a central library with updated and
latest collection of best books in all fields of Engineering and Technology,
Science & Mathematics. Our Library has about 17335 books on 7750 titles,
900 National & International journals, 30 magazines and periodics are
available for the benefit of the students and staff to learn and upgrade their
knowledge.
Our college
functions with effective and efficient Training and Placement Cell with latest
high quality audio video provisions with laptop, Systems, Seminar & GD
hall, Auditorium, 24/7 power-back-up facilities to ensure the smooth process of
Campus drives and Industry-Institute Interaction(3i) Programmes
.
The Objective of the Placement Cell is to Get a job for all
the eligible and Interested students from every department from our campus
itself.
Our college also
encourages & guides our students to participate & succeed in Off-Campus
Interviews organized by Anna University-CUIC, Other Colleges and Universities
across Tamilnadu. In-Plant Training(IPT), Industrial Visits(IV), Industry
Institute Interaction(3i) programme are the other activities provided by our
college Placement team to the students
for enriching their knowledge about the actual expectation of the
Industries & Corporates from them as well as to understand the current
market scenario practically.
The objective of
the Training cell is to impart & Improve all skills of the students which
enable them to attend and succeed in any type of interviews related to their
Career.
A team our
Faculty members from all departments dedicate themselves (apart from their
regular classes) in handling special coaching classes to the students related
to the Improvement of their soft-skills like Communication skills, Analytical
skills, Interpersonal skills, Reasoning skills, Logical skills, Personality
development, Time management, etc and latest technical skills which enable them
to become employable.
National
&International Conferences
All department
of our college had Organized National & International Seminars, Conferences
on various topics matching with the current trends in the Industry. Our faculty
and students have participated in various seminars & conferences conducted
by various Institutions, Industries across India. They have presented more
papers during those events and major of them had been recognized and won awards.
